PASTURE
The GROUNDHOGG is well suited to pasture renovation, the tyne slices
through the ground, opening and shattering it in a single pass. The
GROUNDHOGG promotes a better growth of existing pasture to allow it to
endure our TOUGH AUSTRALIAN CONDITIONS.
The GROUNDHOGG will prepare your pasture for oversowing without
destroying your existing pasture. A GROUNDHOGG SEEDBOX and a Harrow
chain set can also be fitted to GROUNDHOGG to allow single pass
operation. |

GROUNDHOGG BLADE SYSTEM
The GROUNDHOGG BLADE is built to withstand all conditions, it will
handle rough ground, roots, stones and long grass. It will not wrap up
with the grass or legume. |

The tynes are KEYSTEEL
which are extremely hard wearing and fatigue resistant.
The blade has strong webs on either side of it to eliminate fracture
points.
The blade has a cutting
edge on the front side to cut
the vegetationon the way into the ground,
and another on the reverse side to cut the vegetation on the way out of
the ground. |

Broad Acre
Large areas can be quickly handled by the larger size GROUNDHOGG 23'6"
units will cover approx. 20 acres per hour with only 100HP tractors.
These GROUNDHOGGs are standard with hydraulic folding, for ease of
transport and fitting through gates. |

Turf-Schools
Golf Courses, Schools and Turf Farms need a GROUNDHOGG Fine Turf
Special to aerate the soil and relieve compaction, and so promoting a
lush growth in the grass. This can be accomplished by the GROUNDHOGG
Fine Turf Special bringing minimal disturbance to the surface. This
emliminates any playing disruption. |

Cultivation
RAZORBACK is an aggressive cultivator that requires low HP but quickly
transforms your field into a viable seedbed. Shattering the soil down
to approximately 12" (300mm) and no hard pan. This stops your valuable
plants getting wet feet and drowning. 75HP can pull a 300RZ (3m) at
14km/h. |

Pasture Renovation
Pasture renovation is quickly accomplished by the GROUNDHOGG at
approximately 6 acres per hour for model 225G a 7'6" unit.
Low 45HP is all that is required to renovate pasture at this rate and
so save you time and money. |

The GROUNDHOGG Range
The GROUNDHOGG SYSTEM is very versatile. The frame can be used as a
tollbar, with single implements or in multiples. Equipment available to
fit is RIPPERS, GROUNDHOGG ROLLERS, SEEDBOX, HARROW CHAIN SET, CRUMBLE
ROLLERS or any other implements designed for 75mm toolbar.

Sugar Cane
Sugar Cane can have the areas between the rows aerated to relieve
compaction generated in the soil by heavy machinery. Trash on the
ground is not a problem as the GROUNDHOGG CANE will work through the
trash without wrapping or disturbing the cover.
